This cache was started during the 2010 Balloon Federation of America (BFA) Great Lakes Region Hot Air Balloon Camp on July 18-21, 2010.
This cache was started during the 2010 Balloon Federation of America (BFA) Great Lakes Region Hot Air Balloon Camp on July 18-21, 2010 . The initial contents in the box were brought to camp by the campers and the cache was placed near our launch site.
During camp week, the 21 campers and 11 counselors (including four pilots) was able to set up the balloons three times and have several learning sessions (ground school) on GPS, weather, FARs, first aid, knots, flight planning, decision making and checklists.
