Many thanks to Piggen for allowing us to adopt this cache so we could include it in our series of linskäkter/flax mills. Thanks for taking us here, Piggen and for letting us adopt it!
This cache is wheelchair accessible as long as you have a chair that can take slightly uneven terrain. There is a clear path to the area and the cache is at a location that should be easily reached by chair.
A great cache if you have kids!
This cache is located at one of many linskäkter/flax mills in Hälsingland. Flax, or lin in Swedish, is the official flower of this area, and there are many, many mills for the processing of it here. Most date back to the late 1700's or some time in the 1800's and there is a movement to preserve them and keep them functioning.
This particular mill is a working mill with sluice. You can go in (please be sure to close the doors when you leave) and see the inner workings as well as some flax in differing levels of processing.
