Geocache Description:

First things first. The lid will come off. The key is to not put it back on to tightly. You should be able to make a quick tug straight up and it will come off. I will look into making this easier soon. This cache is on the Pigeon Creek Greenway Passage-Industrial Corridor. The City of Evansville Parks and Recreation Department was gracious enough to allow geocaching on this beautiful trail. We want to respond in kind by helping keep the area clean.

As you begin your caching adventure, we want you to stop here first and get a plastic bag to pickup any trash you may encounter. You will be parking at the Shirley James Gateway Plaza. This is also the Mead Johnson Trailhead. Take some time to admire the expansive sculpture nearby and read about this section of the passage. A link for more info about the Pigeon Creek Greenway Passage is above. The cache log is in a container at the CITO Station. The top cap should just pull right up and off. Please let us know if the bags need replenishing. Please no night caching. ECO Logo
