This is a small container located on an island in Geist. Only three ways to get to this island, walk on water (frozen), swim (better be strong), or boat (recommended).
I have done a couple kayak caches and wanted to create more. I put in at the Fall Creek Trail near the dam. A couple caches, including a multi and earth cache are close to the dam. Be careful not to get too close to the dam and watch out for heavy weekend traffic if you are paddling to this..
Check out Goat's Geist Island #2 along with three other island caches in Geist. There is also free paddle access from Geist Park, along with 4 caches at that park.
I landed on the south side of the island, to the left of the large root ball in the middle of the shallow section of shore.
Please make sure to lodge cache back into it's spot so it can weather the weather.
