This was the central theater with seating for 800 and located on Theater Avenue. There were four additional larger theaters in camp with seating for 1,200 each. A little off time to visit the movie theaters was probably enjoyed by many of the soliders training at Camp Adair; however, the large capacities of the theaters helps put into perspective the magnitude of the training facilities at Camp Adair.
A theater was located in each of the four quadrants.
An achived cache (Stairway to Heaven) was located at the theater in the southwest quadrant.
The theater in the northwest quadrant is in a posted "no access" area (near its southwest corner).
The theater in the northeast quadrant is the location of the cache titled "Movie Time-1943".
The theater in the south-east quadrant is at N44*41.5732 W123*12.2157. Look for a sign that says "Wildlife Viewing Blind" and follow the trail. Fish & Wildlife has filled in the foundation, but they did leave a shelter with a bench and the sloped foundation walls of the theater are still visible.
