Geocache Description:

Site of the second Brentwood Baptist Church. now there is only a stone with a plaque, and the site has been planted with seedlings. The first Brentwood Baptist church burnt down and the church was rebuilt on this site in 1936.

In the 1950's the congregation was about 70 people with 35 children attending the sunday school. There was never a town here.. just the church, so that the many local farming familes had a place to worship.
Driving through the area it is hard to imagine that there were so many people living here.
As farm sizes increased there were no longer enough families left to attend the church so it was closed down and the building was removed. The church building is now used as a house near Wail, and can be seen from the highway between Dimboola and Horsham.

Cache is a 250 ml sistema type container, so room for small swaps only.
