Geocache Description:

BRING A PEN! Trust me you WILL need it!

The farthest you will have to get off the trail is around 100 feet! Other than that, stick to the trail! If you decide to bushwack, then enjoy orb spiders for a snack.

Bring: Hiking pack, water, pen, first aid kit (Just in Case), Spider stick, BUGSPRAY (I forgot mine, and I paid dearly!)

***PLEASE REPLACE EACH STAGE & REHIDE EXACTLY AS YOU FOUND IT***

This is a SEVEN STAGE Multi Cache. You will walk nearly five miles on this excursion. Tom Triplett Park is a great recreational park. Not many people know however that there is nearly 10 miles of hiking/biking trails in the woods. The trails are taken care of by the Savannah Mountain Biking Club, which I am part of. We maintain these trails, so you shouldn't have to many problems navigating them.

This is not a park and grab!!! Grab your gear and enjoy nature. I have nothing against urban caching, but with a park like Tom Triplett, this is a great place for cachers to feel what true geocaching is.

**WATCH OUT** for Copper heads, Black Indigo (Non Venomous), Water Moccasins, and A LOT of Orb Spiders. You will also encounter: Armadillos, Racoons, Beavers, Deer, Opossum and many more Fauna on this excursion.

Each Stage has coordinates to the next stage. You will also find a letter with a number slowly revealing where the final location is to the geocache! Make sure you write them down, if you don't, it is your own fault that you will have to backtrack!

I have included CCGCS #6 as a waypoint between Stage 3 & 4. Since you will pass by it, might as well get two smiley's! I have included a picture in the gallery of the Stage containers to help you in your search.

Final Coords

N 32° 05.BDF W 081° 13.ACE

Make sure you log the Trail Head into your GPS as a reference on how to get back to the parking lot.

Happy Caching!

*********UPDATE AS OF January 22nd 2011*******

More clear cutting has taken place between Stage 5 and Stage 6 and also between Stage 6 and the Final Hiding Spot. Each stage is still accessible although a lot of bushwacking is required between these stages.

Also, figured out a solution for the pesky zorro masked bandits and they do not stand any more chances of sneaking off with stage containers. Each stage container is now will be able to stay where they should, do not try to rip them out of there hiding spots, twist the container off the cap and replace after writing down coords.

As of right now this is a temporary/permanent solution as of right now. The clear cutting may become problematic over time requiring moving of each stage to a new location.
