This search takes you on a short walk in grassy and forest
habitats. Signs help you identify Indiana's indigenous plants and
trees along the way. You will likely see all kinds of animal tracks
as you go.
Before you start, try to say "Sarsaparilla Cache" three times
very quickly...It's hard to do.
When you reach N 41° 12.337 W 085° 02.452 there will be a sign
with colorful pictures on it. Please stop by and read it. As you
ponder the message, you'll also learn why we chose Sarsaparilla to
name our cache. The cache is a short walk from here.
The Sarsaparilla Cache contains a variety of items for trade.
The green army ammo box also has a logbook, so please be sure to
log your visit along with the almost two hundred others who have.
Also, this cache is now one of the oldest in this area!
