Many thanks to all who contributed to this cache. This cache is placed to commemorate St Louis's first annual Geocaching picnic but it is not located at Rockwoods Reservation near the picnic site any longer. Please feel free to take/leave something. Enjoy the hunt.
This cache to be WELL hidden and out of the weather. An experienced geocacher could find it but I don’t think passerby’s will. The map savvy folks here will notice that it is POSSIBLE to drive on public roads to within 488 ft of this cache. I think only Denali would stand a chance at finding it starting from this location. When you park at N38° 36.974 W090° 42.372 (Starting location is the idea of a Conservation Department employee) you should be .47mi from your destination. We were able to walk in and out and site see along the way in under a ½ hr.
