Nelson Lake -

Today we can still see swimmers during the summer months,
however, once upon a time, the water in this area was a lake.
Nelson Lake was about 1/4 miles below the site of Richland's
present water system intake.
Nelson Lake was not only used by swimmers during the warm
months, but also ice skaters during the winter months.
If only this could be a lake once again. How fun that would
be.
