While placing this cache I was surprised by a small snake wrapped around a branch within two inches of the hide. I ran into another of these snakes while caching with the Elves and was informed by Mr Elf that it was a Brown Snake or Dekays Snake, the things you learn caching. It is a protected species and harmless. It was about the size of a large night-crawler and pretty cute just hanging out in a tree, not bothered at all by my activity.
