Geocache Description:

This is the third of a series of a 7 cache loop. The first 6 are traditional caches, with each of these holding a clue to the name and the location of a seventh mystery bonus cache.
It is recommended that the series be done in order from 1-7, as short-cuts may lead to confusion and delay, possibly involving barbed wire. In general the footpaths used in this series are in relatively good condition, though in a few places they can get quite overgrown so watch out for spiky plants and stingers.

This series of 7 caches is based on the Little Bird’s love of all things Pokemon. It is her dearest wish to become a Pokemon master and spend her life hunting the world for these ‘pocket monsters’, so it was natural that for our first ever cache series she would choose a Pokemon theme and invite others to ‘Catch Them All’ too.
She has chosen a specific Pokemon to ‘live’ in each cache location ready to be captured and trained by all you budding Caching Masters, so pay attention to the description of the little creatures as clues to their likely locations may be found in mentions of their favoured habitats and behaviour!

The location of this cache is where Bellsprout can be found.
Bellsprouts are a grass-type pokemon. They resemble yellow tulips but unlike this garden flower Bellsprouts are able to walk around using their roots as feet. The roots when burrowed in the earth can be used both as a way of getting nutrients and also as a defence, channelling them through the ground precisely to trip unwary foes. Their stem is extremely flexible, allowing them to move very rapidly out of the way of attack or when going after prey - Bellsprouts are insect-eating plants. They use attacks such as Vine Whip to catch their prey, acting in response to movement.
They like to live in humid areas, such as jungles or warm, wet forests, where the ground is rich in nutrients.

Bellsprout's cache is a black, oblong container with a lock 'n' lock lid. As well as the sixth and final clue to the bonus mystery cache, it contains on activation a logbook and pencil in a plastic bag, First To Find and Second To Find reward cards and a number of swaps including a Pokemon trading card.

Heavy tree cover may interfere with GPS readings. Be gentle when extracting and replacing this cache.
