The Beanie Baby Adoption Agency Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

sew crafty: Since this spot has been discovered by the neighbourhood teens, there's no point in placing and losing another container, so sadly it's time to close the doors on the Beanie Baby Adoption Agency.

Geocache Description:

This is an easy cache meant for your little ones and for the young at heart.

Perhaps you remember the Beanie Baby craze of the late 90's. With two young children at the time, we acquired quite a few Beanie's. But what to do with them now? I often thought about finding a way to distribute them to other children who might appreciate these cute and cuddly creatures, but hadn't come up with anything....until now!

The "Agency" is a large camo'd storage container that's big enough to hold 10-12 Beanie's at a time and still has room for your tradeables. Each Beanie is in a ziplock bag to keep it dry and clean. If you mention in your log how many you adopted, I'll have a better idea of when I need to drop off more Beanie's to keep the agency full.

The "Agency" is located along the north side of Upper Middle Road, between 4th Line and West Oak Trails Blvd, in a clump of trees that will screen you from the road and the footpath.
There's street parking off 4th Line on Glen Valley Rd and Old Oak Dr. There's a path from Old Oak Dr that will take you out to Upper Middle Road.

NOTE: please replace the cache and it's camouflage just as you found it. During the winter months, the area is very visible from the sidewalk.
