A simple cache with a great viewpoint over the Co. Down country
side. On a clear day you can see from Cave hill and the
Belfast hills on your right, and over the Co. Down countryside as
far as The Mourne mountains.
There is a lay-by at the cache site with room for a couple of
cars, but take care as you are still on the roadside. Also if you
need any meat goods there is a great butcher shop across the
road!
The cache is about the size of my index
finger. You will need a sonething similar width to your
finger but much longer in order to retreive the cache from its
holder. Please also ensure that you replace the cache in the
same spot with all camo in place, otherwise the cache will go
missing very easily.
