The main wood entrance is a gap between two houses in Maple
Drive, next to the wood is a large abandoned psychiatric hospital
(that is in bad condition due to vandals) that I do not recommend
families exploring however you don't need to go near it to enter
the wood as the entrance is before this
The site can also be accessed from the canal being a nice walk
of less than one mile along a farm path, could also be accessed
from Weston lock being around 2 miles away. The cache is just off
the main path, it’s not a very busy wood but keep an eye out
for muggles all the same. Suitable for whole family and dogs.
There is limited free parking on the street at the entrance
on Maple dirve at N 52° 51.4203, W 001° 23.345.
The container is a small/medium sized see-through plastic
cyclinder with a screw top. The orginal contents are as follows:
Bouncy Ball, Chinese finger trap, Bubble mixture, severed finger
(plastic), torch keyring and a log book and pen. This is my first
Cache so have fun and good luck!
Aston - Weston Cache Trail
