As a child my mother owned a business in this location. During those days I learned of the significant historical value for the growth of Starkville, that this location had.I recently became a part of the Geocaching world and instantly thought of placing a cache in this location. If it had not been for this business that WAS here years ago, Starkville would not have ever grown to its current size. As you look around this location, try to imagine what all came in and out of here. How important the smallest things where for the growth of Starkville, and what the people in earlier days must have been doing and thinking as they came through here.
