A walk we like to take with the dog. The circular version is a couple of miles. If you want a long walk in come over Hill of Fare from the East. Fine views out towards the West from the cache site.
We usually park at the layby at the top of the hill out of Torphins heading North then walk East along the forest road. If you walk straight on to the end of the road to a turning circle, you can come to the cache via a circular route round the wood on the south of the road. Otherwise if you want a shorter walk look for the giant rabbit on the right and go GPS hunting beyond.
Cache is a small lock lid plastic box with a few swap bits and pieces and the log book / pencil and sharpener.
