vacu un latviešu vienibas - ap 50 000. Vacu armijas rindas
kritušie tika apbediti dažados - lielakos un mazakos -
kapu laukos, kas padomju varas gados gandriz visi tika nopostiti.
Pec neatkaribas atjaunošanas Latvijas Republikas valdiba
1996. g. nosledza ligumu ar Vacijas valdibu par kara kritušo
personu apbedijumiem. Liguma rezultata Tautas apvieniba «Vacu
karaviru kapu aprupe» sadarbiba ar Latvijas Bralu kapu komiteju un
dažadam Latvijas iestadem ierikoja Latvija vacu karaviru
kapsetas. Lielaka no tam ir Saldus vacu karaviru kapseta, kur tiek
parapbeditas vacu karaviru mirstigas atliekas, kas atrastas Saldus,
Liepajas, Kuldigas, Tukuma, Ventspils, Talsu, Dobeles, Jelgavas un
Bauskas rajonu teritorijas. Saldus vacu karaviru kapseta karaviru
parapbedišana notiek kopš 1997.g. Kapsetas izbuves
pirmaja karta tika parapbediti 14 000 kritušie, un kapseta
tika iesvetita 1999.g. 4. septembri. Kapsetas otro kartu paredzets
pabeigt 2009.g., un tad kopuma kapseta paredzets parapbedit ap 30
000 kritušo. Lidz šim Saldus vacu karaviru kapseta
parapbediti ap 22 tukstoši vacu karaviru, tacu darbs vel nav
gala, jo karaviru apbedijumu vietu izpete Kurzeme joprojam
