One of the most beautiful locations that we visited in
Croatia.
Station established 1911 and still active. Focal plane 34 m (112
ft); white light, 2 s on, 8 s off. 14 m (46 ft) round tower with
lantern and gallery, painted white, mounted atop a round masonry
tower.
A closeup, a view from the sea, and another view are available, and
Google has a
satellite view. Located on a small island off a promontory
about 5 km (3 mi) southeast of Trstenik, on the south coast of the
peninsula.
Cache is reachable ONLY with a boat or better with motor boat.
From Zuljana coast it is about 3 km far away. On the island, there
is a very nice lighthouse. Also its possible to enjoy great view to
the wide surroundings.
Please, be careful when hunting this cache. Just follow the
narrow path to the lighthouse. Close to this island is the ferry
route from Korcula to Dubrovnik. Many big ships all around. Take
