This is the fourth of 6 caches on a 3-mile loop that starts and ends at the Reservoir #6 parking area in West Hartford, CT. (The third - Electric TB Hotel - is a members-only listing...join geocaching.com today!)
The round trip is moderately strenuous as you will ascend 300-400 feet but it follows the trail the entire time. Give yourself about 2 hours to find all six. (All MDC Reservoir areas open daily at sunrise and close 1/2 hour after sunset.) Also, the middle of the loop is quite overgrown in summer so you should probably wear pants.
This part of the loop is on the CL&P Powerline trail. If you don't see powerlines above you, head back to the previous cache and follow the trail under the powerlines to the left/South. This is the overgrown part previously referred to but the trail is quite obvious.
Walking south along the CL&P trail for approx. .3 miles, you will arrive at the cache location on your left.
You are looking for a camouflaged, 6x6 Rubbermaid container. The hide is all about location...hence the name. You will have to retrieve the cache from ABOVE. Don't be a sloppy cat, please replace the cache securely in its proper spot.
