GEOPOLY REGENSBURG

In dieser Reihe werden die Strassenzüge der Regensburg Monopoly Edition von 2010 als Caches abgebildet.
Als Bonus winkt "Frei Parken". Hierfür müssen die Hinweise zu den 8 Buchstaben RATISBON gesammelt werden, die in den FINALS des jeweiligen Strassenzugs zu finden sind.

Dieser Strassenzug besteht aus der Tändlergasse, dem Rathausplatz und der unteren Bachgasse.
Begib dich zuerst zu der Tändlergasse und dem Rathausplatz, hier wirst du Informationen für den FINAL in der unteren Bachgasse finden.

Tändlergasse
Dem Altwarenhandel, der in früheren Zeiten dort betrieben wurde, verdankt die Tändlergasse ihren Namen. Hauptsächlich wurden dort Schuhe und Kleider verkauft. Heute befinden sich in der pittoresken Gasse zahlreiche kleine Läden mit unterschiedlichsten Warenangeboten. Besonders bekannt ist das Haus mit der Nummer 24: die heutige Engelsapotheke. Sie gilt als eine von Regensburgs ältesten Apotheken. Die Entstehung dieses Hauses wird auf das Jahr 1240 datiert. Während der Judenvertreibung wurde es jedoch zerstört und erst 1563 wiederaufgebaut.

Rathausplatz
Das Alte Rathaus von Regensburg ist der Sitz des Oberbürgermeisters und eines Teils der Stadtverwaltung von Regensburg. Es beherbergt heute außerdem ein Museum zur Geschichte der Regensburger Reichstage. Das Alte Rathaus in Regensburg stammt im ältesten Teil aus der Mitte des 13. Jh. Damals wurde der noch heute stehende Turm und ein viergeschossiger Anbau im Typus der Hausburgen der Patrizier errichtet. Der Bau entstand an der Nordwestecke des ehemaligen Römerkastells zum damaligen Kaufmannsbezirk hin. Der spätere Reichssaalbau wurde 1360 als städtischer Tanzsaal errichtet. Im 15. Jh. kamen weitere Verwaltungsbauten hinzu. 1355 wurde der Reichstag wahrscheinlich erstmals von Kaiser Karl IV. im Reichssaal abgehalten. Die vorher sporadisch und an wechselnden Orten tagenden Reichstage fanden ab 1594 immer in Regensburg und ab 1663 immerwährend im Reichssaal statt. Das Reichstagsmuseum in Regensburg ist eine Dauerausstellung, in deren Mittelpunkt die Bedeutung des Heiligen Römischen Reichs Deutscher Nation für die deutsche und die europäische Geschichte steht. Das Museum wurde 1963 im Reichssaalbau und den historischen Räumen des Alten Rathauses eingerichtet.

Untere Bachgasse
Die Untere Bachgasse stellt eine Verbindung zwischen der Gesandtenstrasse/Neupfarrplatz und dem Rathausplatz/Kohlenmarkt dar und lädt förmlich zum Flanieren ein. Zahlreiche kleine Modeshops und Cafes sind hier zu finden. Besonders erwähnt sei hier das bereits seit 1977 existierende Restaurant Orphée, ein Traditionsrestaurant, dessen Innenraum seit 1896 fast unverändert geblieben ist. In den oberen 5 Etagen des weitläufigen Barockhauses - Untere Bachgasse 8 - befindet sich über dem Restaurant gelegen das Hotel Orphée Großes Haus mit 34 Zimmern.
In der Mitte der Unteren Bachgasse zweigt diese in die Gasse "Hinter der Grieb" ab, ein weiteres romantisches Gässchen mit sehr guten Cafes und Restaurants die dann in die Rote-Hahnen-Gasse übergeht.


Nun zu den Aufgaben in der unteren Bachgasse:
Begib dich zu den Koordinaten auf der Strassenkarte "Untere Bachgasse".
Gehe in der Gasse Richtung Norden bis du zum bereits erwähnten Restaurant Orphée kommst. Von welchem Jahr entstammt das alte Brauerei-Areal mit Sudhaus, Lagerkellern und Gastraum? Notiere die Quersumme der Zahl (E = ?)

Gehe weiter Richtung Norden, dort findest du an einem ziegelfarbenen Haus ein Steinrelief an dem links der eingekreiste Buchstabe "B" zu finden ist. Welche eingekreiste Zahl findest du auf der rechten Seite des Reliefs? Notiere die Zahl (F = ?)

Jetzt darfst du dir einen gemütlich Platz im Orphée suchen und die Koordinate für das Finale berechnen. Den Final dieses Strassenzuges mit dem Hinweisbuchstaben S für den Bonus "Frei Parken" findest Du an folgenden Koordinaten:

HINWEIS: die Dose wurde vorsichtshalber befestigt, diese also nur öffnen, das Logbuch entnehmen, loggen, Logbuch wieder zurücklegen, Dose verschließen! So einfach ist das :-)

Tändlergasse
It dues it name to junk dealing at former times. Especially shoes and clothes were sold there. The most famous house is number 24: Engelsapotheke. It is considered as Regensburgs oldest pharmacy. The development of this building goes back to the year 1240. During the expulsion of the Jews it was destroyed and only in 1563 it was rebuilt.

Rathausplatz
The Alte Rathaus of Regensburg is the office of the senior mayor and a part of the city administration. Today you can also find a museum inside that shows the history of the Imperial Diets of Regensburg.The oldest part of the Alte Rathaus dates back to the middle of the 13th century. In those times the tower (that is still standing today) and a four-storeyed addition have been built in the style of the castles of the Patrizier. The building arised at the north-west corner of the Roman fort in the direction to the trader district. The dancing hall was constructed 1360. In the 15th century further administration buildings were added. 1355 Emperor Karl IV. held the Imperial Diets for the first time. Up to that time, Imperial Diets were held infrequently and on different places. From 1594 on they were held in Regensburg and from 1663 on always in the Imperial Hall. The Imperial Diets Museum is a permanent exhibition. Main theme of the exhibition is the importance of the Roman Empire for German and European history. The museum was established in 1963.

Untere Bachgasse
Untere Bachgasse is the connection between Gesandtenstraße/Neupfarrplatz and Rathausplatz/Kohlenmarkt and invites you to chill. You can find a lot of fashion shops and cafés there. It has to be mentioned that Orphée, a traditional restaurant has been existing since 1977. Orphée. Its interior hasn`t nearly changed since 1896. On the five floors of the rambling baroque building – Untere Bachgasse 8 – above the restaurant, you can find Hotel Orphée Großes Haus with 34 rooms.
In the middle of Untere Bachgasse another alley detours into “Hinter der Grieb” which is another romantic alley with very nice cafés and restaurants. This alley passes over to Rote-Hahnen-Gasse.

Go north until you reach Restaurant Orphée. In which year the old brewery including brewhouse, storage cellar and dining area was built? Note the digit sum (E = ?)

Go further north until you find a stone carving on a brick-coloured house on which letter “B” is written on the left. Which encircled number do you find on the right side of the carving? Note down the digit (F = ?)
