GEOPOLY REGENSBURG

In dieser Reihe werden die Strassenzüge der Regensburg Monopoly Edition von 2010 als Caches abgebildet.
Als Bonus winkt "Frei Parken". Hierfür müssen die Hinweise zu den 8 Buchstaben RATISBON gesammelt werden, die in den FINALS des jeweiligen Strassenzugs zu finden sind.

Dieser Strassenzug besteht aus der Schwarzen-Bären-Straße, Königsstraße und der Maximilianstraße.
Begib dich zuerst zur Schwarzen-Bären-Straße 2, hier wirst du erste Informationen für den FINAL in der Maximilianstraße finden.

Schwarze-Bären-Straße
Hier in der Schwarzen-Bären-Strasse 2 befindet sich die St.-Gallus-Kapelle, in dieser legte am 16. November 1835, Karolina Gerhardinger die Ordensgründerin der Kongregation "der Armen Schulschwestern von Unserer Lieben Frau", ihr Ordensgelübde ab. Bei dieser Kapelle handelt es sich um eine zweijochige, spätromanische Privatkapelle des Ehrenfelder Hofes.
Nun zur ersten Frage: Wann wurde diese Kapelle und Portal erbaut, bilde daraus die Quersumme ( A = ? )
Nun gehe weiter in Richtung Osten, dort befindet sich auf der linken Seite das Haus eines bekannten Regensburger Teehauses, obwohl vermutlich wesentlich älter, wurde das herrschaftliche Gebäude, nahe dem zentralen Domplatz, 1344 erstmals urkundlich erwähnt. Nach gravierenden Umbauten im 17., sowie 19. und zuletzt Anfang des 20. Jahrhunderts erhielt das Haus sein heutiges Aussehen.
Nun zur zweiten Frage: Was befindet sich auf dem Turm diese Hauses? ( B = ? )

Königsstraße
Begib dich zu den Koordinaten auf der Strassenkarte "Königsstraße", dort findet ihr die Reste der ehemaligen Ostmauer des Römischen Legionslagers "castra regina". Durch eine Bauinschrift ist bekannt, dass es im Jahr 179 n. Chr. fertiggestellt wurde. Das Lagerareal umfasste ca. 360 zu 300 römischen passus (Doppelschritte). Das Lager bedeckte damit insgesamt eine Fläche von ca. 24,5 Hektar ein. Vor der Mauer wurde ein Spitzgraben angelegt, der 6-7 m breit und ca. 2,5 bis 3m tief war. Wenn ihr wollt, könnt ihr auch den Cache Marc Aurels Steine-Reloaded mitnehmen.
Hier findet ihr eine Infotafel, mit der ihr die dritte Frage beanworten könnt: Wie lang war diese errichtete Mauer? C45 m ( C = 5 ) siehe Note vom 20.07.2012
So nun begebt euch zur Königsstraße 1, auf dem Weg dorthin, seht ihr links und rechts viele Geschäfte und Boutiquen für das jüngere Publikum. Am Ziel angekommen steht ihr nun vor einem gelben Haus, das links einen Erker mit einem Wappen hat.
Nun zur vierten Frage: Welche Farbe hat dieses Wappen? ( D = ? )

Maximilianstraße
Der Angriff der Franzosen auf Regensburg hatte auch städtebauliche Folgen. Das zerstörte Quartier wurde neu organisiert und die Maximilianstraße als bis dahin in Regensburg völlig unbekannte gerade verlaufende Prachtstraße konzipiert. Rechtwinklig dazu wurden die Querstraßen angeschlossen. 1811 schrieb der Freiherr von Weichs, der königlich bayerische Hofkommissär: „Von den Tempeln der Karmeliten und der Alten Kapelle wird ein schönes Perspektiv auf das Monument des großen Kepler führen.“ Das Kepler-Denkmal stand also einst genau in der Flucht der Maxstraße, bis es im Zuge der Bauarbeitendes Bahnhofes (Fertigstellung 1864) aus der Blickachse nach Westen versetzt wurde. Der Bahnhof galt forthin als Point-de-Vue.
Begib dich nun zu den Koordinaten auf der Strassenkarte "Maximilianstraße".
Hier findest du das Cafe Fürstenhof, nun die fünfte Frage dazu. Seit wann gibt es dieses Cafe? Bilde daraus die Quersumme. ( E = ? )
Gehe nun weiter in Richtung Süden, auf der rechten Seite siehst du nun ein sehr schönes und bekanntes Hotel in Regensburg. Dieses prächtige Gebäude wurde 1889 im Stil des Neo-Rokoko erbaut.
Dazu gibt es jetzte die sechste und letzte Frage zu dieser Runde. Über dem Eingang siehst du den Namen des Hotels, wieviele A kommen darin vor?( F = ? )

This residential street contains of the Schwarze-Bären-Straße (“Black-Bear-Street”), the Königsstraße (“Kingstreet”) and the Maximilianstraße.
First go to the Schwarze-Bären-Straße 2, here you will find the first information for the FINAL in the Maximilianstraße.

Schwarze-Bären-Straße
Here in the Schwarze-Bären-Straße 2 the St.-Gallus Chapel is located. In this chapel Karolina Gerhardinger who is the founder of the order from the congregation of the “School Sisters of Notre Dame” took her vows. It is a two-bay late-Romanesque private chapel of the Ehrenfeld Hof.
1st Question: When were the chapel and the porch been built? Cross-Sum = ( A = ? )
No go further eastwards, there you find on the left side the building of a famous teahouse of Regensburg. Although probably much older, this manorial building which is located near the central cathedral place was first 1344 mentioned in the records. After extensive reconstructions in the 17th, 19th and at last 20th century, the building received its today’s appearance.

Königsstraße
Go to the coordinates of the street map “Königsstraße”, there you find the rest of the former east wall of the Roman legion camp “castra regina”. Due to an inscription it is documented that it was finished 179 AD. The camp area span ca. 360 to 300 Roman passages (= double steps). The camp covered therefore in total an area of ca. 24.5 hectares. In front of the wall a V-shaped ditch was trenched which was 6-7 m wide and 2.5 to 3 m deep. Now go to Königsstraße 1, on the way there, you see left and right lots of shops and boutiques for the younger customers. Arrived at the destination, you are in front of a yellow building that has a bay window with an emblem on the left side.

Maximilianstraße
The attack of the French against Regensburg had also urban consequences. The destroyed quarter was reorganised and the Maximilianstraße was planned as straight avenue, by then totally unkown in Regensburg. The cross streets were connected rectangular. 1811 the Baron of Weichs wrote to the Royal Bavarian Court Minister: “From the temples of the Carmelites and the Old Chapel, a beautiful spot will lead to the monument of the great Kepler.” So the Kepler memorial was once standing exactly in the street scape of the Maxstraße, until it was moved to West during the construction of the railway station (completion 1864). The station has been considered as Point-de-Vue since then.

Go further southwards; on the right side you see now a very beautiful and famous hotel in Regensburg. This grand building was constructed 1889 in neo-Rococo style. Here is the 6th and last question: Above the entry you see the name of the hotel, how many A’s are in the name?( F = ? )
