On Australia Day this year when walking the coastal track from Gerringong I sat under one of the few trees on the track. Not long after my arrival an elderly couple stopped to say hello and the husband said “This tree is a real blessing on such a hot day”. So I thought to myself that the coastal track needed a cache to mark this spot and thus the name for the cache “The Blessing Tree”.
A small scramble is required to locate this cache. When you locate it make sure that the lid is firmly on the outside casing to prevent moisture from entering into the cache. First to find will be rewarded with a small monetary gift inside a small tin within the cache.
