The P.R.C. stands for Peaceful Rest Cache. Yes, they are near
cemeteries so you must abide by a few rules. No hunting these
caches after dark. That is a state law on being in a cemetery when
it's dark out. Second is dogs. Not all have rules on dogs being in
them, but lets show some respect. We don't want Fido peeing on
Uncle Joe. These are meant to take you to a few of the out of the
way places. I myself enjoy reading the old stones.
This one is located on the Smith Rd.in Dixmont. This is a fairly
large cemetery to be so far out of town, but I suspect town may
have been different back in the day. The older stones are high up
on the hill, as is the cache. The container is a bit different, and
will only hold small coins or a Pathtag. Please rehide it as you
found it for the next seeker.
