Part of the Dearly Departed series. This cache is dedicated to my uncle. This is a short offset multi-cache. You could walk from the first leg to the second and then final, but we recommend driving the short distance from the first spot to the second and then walking to the final. Please be very respectful in your visit. Do not visit this cache after dark.
At the first stop (posted coordinates) you will find a historic building in Whitt, Texas. A lot of our family from generations past are from this area, so we decided it was a perfect place to hide our first cache. The final cache is a larger pill bottle covered in digital camo tape. It contains a log and a couple small trade items. Please bring your own pen.
Part one: Please read the information on the historical marker about some of Whitt's exciting past. Using the YEAR that the Seminary opened, complete the following short calculation...
Add the year the Seminary opened to 55.741 to obtain the correct coordinates.

Part two: You will now be at a resting place for some of Whitt's past residents. You will again use some information from this marker to find the final coordinates. Using the YEAR the marker was dedicated (look in the bottom right corner), complete the following short calculation...

Part three: This is where the cache is located. Please take care not to disturb any of the residents of this lovely area. Near the cache, please visit and say "hello" to our uncle, Roy Dean "Dino" Davis for whom this cache is named. He was taken from us very unexpectedly and much too early. Recently, justice was served for those responsible, and we wanted to pay tribute to his memory with this cache. Dino loved his family very much and could be seen out fishing or listening to music all the time. We believe he would have loved geocaching.
