ploughnane: Unfortunately the cache does seem to have been swept away by the floods. It survived floods in the past but not this year. Perhaps someone will find the ammo case some day, wherever it may have landed.

This is an ammo box hidden along the Keuka Lake Outlet Trail. A 10 minute hike from the Dresden trail end, with parking down the road past Mr. Twistee's. A mountain bike or a horse will speed your transit. The last few steps could be a bit tricky.
Silly Bandz are my kids' trinket of choice when caching. This is our second ammo box loaded with Silly Bandz. I wonder if this cache will outlast the fad.
If coming from the Dresden entrance, grab GC16BCR along the way.
If you rely on an iPhone as your GPS please note there appears to be no AT&T service down along the trail. In fact there seems to be a flux vortex down here that makes many GPSes go haywire; it did mine when I originally dropped it. If you think this is happening to you, rely on the hint and the map image on the geocaching.com page or google maps. You don't need to cross the creek.
