2 years ago I made my first cache find at GCTH5H - The KRC Hill,and
was hooked right away. My caching went through ebbs and flows from
then until February of this year, when a friend and I decided to
have an event for my 1000th find, on my Birthday of the following
year, (February 15). I started pushing towards this goal, and along
the way have strung together a consecutive find streak of 134 days
(as of August 2) and bumped up the Event date by quite a bit.
The rules for hosting event state that I can't host an event for
the sole purpose of gathering people to find another cache, so I
will host this event as just a get together, from where I will
leave on a day of geocaching during which I intend to make my
1000th find. There is no obligation for anyone to join me, but if
you wish too, that's OK too.
Please confirm you desire to attend with a "will attend" log, so
I can give the restaurant a heads up if an abnormally large crowd
will gather.
