Geocache Description:

Secret Spot for dog lovers. No Street Parking. Beware of Muggles! Small room for trade.

--- Congrats FTF: coachstahly ---

Mum of artcain and thedisco are sisters in that respective order. In July, thedisco made a trip down here to Indianapolis. We logged nearly 50 finds! Pushing each of us over our 100th Find Mark.

We both decided to set out a cache near our homes for our 100th benchmark. (She is placing another in Hammond, Indiana.) We chose this secret little nook near my house. It is a little difficult to get to but we love the parking hunt and walking of caches! This small park was a great place where the artcain kids took our dog Napoleon Bonaparte!

On our 100th Cache Run, One DNF was a total Rookie Error. In our exhaustion and hungry state we set out to "pick up just a couple on our way" to find nourishment, we went looking for a cache by the name of "Mrs. Duck" (GC1FH55). It was supposed to be in a rocky ledge near a "duck pond" just behind a residential building. After giving the area a once over, I leaned down and rejoiced, "I think I found it!" Bending over, I retrieved a small black snuff container sticking out from between two large stones. I opened it with excitement but was sorely disappointed. My toes and flip flops were covered in warm, wet, minty fresh chew.

thedisco laughed hysterically at her older sister's poor use of caution. She laughed more as I swirled my toes into the duck pond trying to get free of the smelly goop.

In the end, I rinsed out my prize and noticed a very good seal on the container. As we looked back to our cell phones, it was almost instantly we noticed there were many DNFs logged. We had been in such a hurry to hit the Radar button, we had forgotten to familiarize ourselves with the task at hand.

Respect the Nature of the location. Respect the area and park with care!
