Geocache Description:

You are looking for a micro sized camoflagued cache. Bring your pencil. This cache commemorates the Battle of Berlin during WWII. This area was once combed with small airfields. This memorial is little known or visited and it was thought that a geocache placed here would help to reconnect us with the events of that terrible era. Note: This is NOT a grave site. It is the place where the Lancaster bomber crashed. The tail gunner survived.

Foot traffic is permitted on the farm road leading to the memorial plaque at the cache location. Please replace the cache as you found it.
It is best to park on 'Bridle End' just off of the High Street. This is near the location for the Yelling Pathfinder cache. The walk is on farm roads over small undulating hills. It is very picturesque. Bring your camera as well as your pencil.

Our Yelling caches are designed as a starting point for new cachers. Some are easy with small clip n lock boxes for swaps, some are camos and a bit more difficult. Each year we add our version of some of the best caches we have found in the last year - sort of a 'cache museum' where newcomers can get ideas for their own hides.

If you are new to Geocaching, this may be your first 'camo micro' cache. These can be well hidden so be patient and keep looking.

****** FTF Well Done Stargeese...Again FTF ******

THE CACHE IS NOT UNDER ANY ROCKS, SO PLEASE DO NOT FEEL UNCOMFORTABLE SEARCHING.
