Geocache Description:

First things first! To get started......... Stop in at the visitor's center and get your permit for entry in the park!

You are looking for an historical marker for a Bison Kill Site located inside the Caprock Canyons State Park. When you get there and find an historical marker with information about the site,you will have what you need to solve the puzzle. First read the marker and learn about the site. Then use the marker to figure out the coordinates to find your cache! Here are the coordinates.......just fill in the blanks! 

N _ _ . _ _ . _ 0 _ W _ 0 _ . 0 _ . _ _ _ Use the clues below to fill in the blanks in order...you are figuring out the numbers in the coordinates by figuring out which letters are what number in the alphabet. (example: the letter c is the 3rd letter of the alphabet. So the answer you are looking for is 3)....The zeros are input for you. Do not use the lines of the title of the marker to get these answers. Use only the body text of the sign. When counting across use/count alphanumeric characters.

UPDATE 3-13-24: The final got moved a little bit, Adjust the final coordinates by adding 4 to the North, and subtracing 8 from the West.

So everytime you come out to these parks and enjoy that burger cooked outside at your campsite, take a hike on the many trails offered, or enjoy the view from a scenic overview take the time to thank Mr. Singleton for his efforts on you behalf.
