Centinaia di impronte di dinosauri erbivori e carnivori: un vero museo a cielo aperto Centinaia di orme dinosauriane impresse sui Calcari Grigi affioranti ai Lavini di Marco, sulle pendici del Monte Zugna, costituiscono quello che oggi è considerato uno dei più importanti siti paleontologici europei.
Le piste e le orme di centinaia di dinosauri carnivori ed erbivori di forme e dimensioni differenti sono impresse lungo un ripido colatoio di circa duecento metri, su sei livelli stratigrafici compresi in un pacchetto di strati potente poco più di cinque metri. Gli affioramenti rocciosi sono riferibili all'inizio del Giurassico, circa 200 milioni di anni fa, e rappresentano quello che rimane, allo stato fossile, di una grande piana carbonatica di marea per molti versi paragonabile alle attuali coste del Golfo Persico.
La Sezione Didattica del Museo Civico di Rovereto organizza visite guidate con esperti che non solo mostrano i reperti, ma spiegano attraverso "tappe tematiche" la storia geologica e l'evoluzione della nostra regione. Lungo il percorso didattico sono stati inoltre installati pannelli esplicativi.

Hundreds of dinosaur footprints herbivores and carnivores: a real open air museum Hundreds of footprints imprinted on dinosauriane Grey Limestone outcrops to Lavini of Marco, on the slopes of Monte Zugna, constitute what is now considered one of the most important paleontological sites in Europe.
The slopes and the footsteps of hundreds of carnivorous and herbivorous dinosaurs of different shapes and sizes are stamped down a steep gully of about two hundred meters, six stratigraphic levels included in a package of powerful layers just over five meters. The rocky outcrops are arising at the beginning of the Jurassic, about 200 million years ago, and represent what remains, the fossil state, a large tidal flat carbonate in many ways comparable to the current coast of the Persian Gulf.
The Educational Department of the Museum of Rovereto organizes guided tours with experts that not only show exhibits, but explain through "stages thematic" geologic history and evolution of our region. Along the trail they were also installed information boards.
