A regular sized cache in the woods at Sanborn County Park
Welcome to the Druid's Delight cache, located in Sanborn County Park. I have hiked on most of the trails in Sanborn and realized when I started geocaching that it could use some more caches in the woods. I have always been fascinated with Druids and often think of them when I am in the woods.
I have been geocaching with my 14 year old grandson since December 09, and he has been bugging me to hide a cache. He was with me this week and I finally decided to do it with his help. So this is my first effort.
The best route to find the cache is to follow Peterson Trail from the parking area past the Shakespeare Theater, and when it turns to the left and heads up hill, take the unnamed trail to the right which connects to San Andreas trail. GPS signal might bounce around a little bit, but my grandson got pretty good readings. Good Luck.
