A 35 mm canister on the way to Ventnor from Shanklin. The climb up from Shanklin, nor the climb up from Ventnor, is not for the faint of heart. Thus Last legs.
Another in a growing series of Isle of Wight steps. It's on the way from, or to, another of our caches - Up Shanklin Down. You'll need your own pen. Sorry no room for goodies, but you wouldn't want to carry them up anyway.
Take the train to Shanklin then walk to Ventnor, clocking up caches as you go.These steps have seen better days. But they will still get you up the hill. Also look out for the set of 3 stiles in a row on the Shanklin side. Interesting feature.
