The city of Sozopol is founded 2620 years ago at the Black sea shore.
Currently it's one of the most famous sea resorts in Bulgaria. It is a very well preserved cultural and historical center. Recently in the the city were found the holy remains of John the baptist.
Stage 1:
When you arrive at the above coordinates you will have a view to the spot where the reamins were excavated. Of course this is not the spot where the cache is placed.
If you see the remainings of a sunk ship your next destination is N 42° 25,276' - E 027° 41,604'
If you see a lighthouse your next destination is N 42° 25,334' - E 027° 41,610'
If you see a bridge your next destination is N 42° 25,156' - E 027° 41,712'
Stage 2:
If you are at the right place you should be able to find a wall with scluptures of lions heads. When you count how many head are there on the wall you will be able to calculate the coordinates for your next stop.
A = the sum of the eyes on all lion heads multiplied by 28
So the coordinates will be:
N 42° 25,A' - E 027°42,056'
Stage 3:
If you are at the right place you should have a nice view to the old city of Sozopol.
If you see a fortress wall your next destination is N 42° 25,129' - E 027° 42,137'
If you see a Ferris weel your next destination is N 42° 25,004' - E 027°41,998'
If you see the remainings of a sunk ship your next destination is N 42° 25,019' - E 027°42,045'
Stage 4:
If you have everything correct you should be at the place where the cache is hidden. You will need to remove a rock that keep the the box from curious eyes. What you are looking for is a regular sized metal box, jacketed in a plastic bag. The initial content of the cache - a log book, a pencil, a smiley face key holder and a "Legacy of Sozopol" coin.
Few people who were at the right hiding spot reported snakes. I have updated the attributes and please beware. I am sure they are not poisonous but I am also sure they can freak you out.
