Geocache Description:

This Peanut Butter jar cache is a replacement for our archived Wasdell Dam Cache, a little easier as you no longer need to do any math.

The town of Ottawa had a water wheel generating plant in 1881. Ontario Hydro was created in 1906 to become the first North American government owned utility. Shortly after, Sir Adam Beck opened their first hydro-electric dam at this little known site...Wasdell Falls, On.

A short walk from the road to the actual dam, or if you are lucky, the chain may be down and you can drive to within meters of the cache.
Deep fast moving water near the dam site but the cache is a short distance from the dam and is in a safe area with good sky view.
