After
passing through the Qurm, with it’s private villas, nice
gardens, passing by the golf course, the Petroleum Development Oman
(no photos there!), cricket/ football field, park the car at
parking place and after take one of the path leading to the
mountains. Near parking area you will see small waste collection
storage with construction materials. This probably won’t be
the nicest spot but I hope views which you will see after passing
this place will be worth of your visit! After finding cache enjoy
your walk along impressive coastline. Path is in good condition.
From cache spot you can see the Fahal Island which is popular among
divers and bird watchers.
Cache
is regular size lock&lock container, camouflaged in a sand
colored sock. There are few trade items; logbook, pencil, eraser
and sharpener. Be aware of reptiles as they are searching for
shadow under the rocks.
Don't go there if it is
raining! Don't go at night!
Of course take plenty of water
with you and be very careful near cache spot as it is next to the
edge of eroded rocks.
