The community woodland was created and planted by Allendale Estates for the residents and visitors to Stocksfield. It's a great place for walking the geohounds and to have a walk/picnic with kiddies. There is a parking place, if you pass the station going west and take the left road to Ebchester and the small car park is on your right.We placed the cache here as Granny G5 and JJM lives very close and the normal geodoggy walks have been closed off as part of the Duke of Northumberland Estates, so we have been exploring the area a little more and came upon this lovely, peaceful place.
