Ravensdale creek meanders peacefully from the outlet at the west
end of Lake Ravensdale along the BN tracks for a bit, then passes
under the tracks near HWY169. Flowing SW after crossing under the
BN tracks it then flows under HWY169 and eventually dumps into Lake
Sawyer. According to the maps I have access to the creek actually
originates somewhere between the old apple orchard along the BN
tracks in the vicinity of the Gracie trail and Lake Retreat. It is
intermittent depending on the season from its origin to where it
flows into Lake Ravensdale .
Probably best accessed from the trail head in Maple Woods. You will
pass by Stumped in Maple Woods(GC1EPBM) on the way.
