Geocache Description:

This cache is a 35mm film pot placed approximately 3ft (1m) above ground level. This cache should be accessible to wheelchair cachers.

Please consider allowing somebody else the opportunity of getting this FTF if you have found several FTFs recently.

Background (courtesy of Histomil.com and other sources):
During WW2 there was a dog fight between a British Hurricane (perhaps flown by P/O H N E Salmon of 1 Sqn) and a German Gf110 [at the time, the wreckage was incorrectly identified in the local press as being that of a Heinkel He 111].
The German aircraft was shot at and broke up in the air.
The pilot, Hauptmann Ernst Hollekamp, was killed and fell on to the roof of Hillbrow School in Gaudick Road, Meads, Eastbourne; his parachute only partially opened [UPDATE: another photo shows that the parachute was unopened on impact].
The bulk of the aircraft crashed seconds later in the grounds of Aldro School in Darley Road (i.e. the published co-ordinates).
The rear gunner, Feldwebel Richard Schurk, came down in the sea off Holywell and drowned.

To find this cache you need to:
- examine the attached photo of this 'WW2 parachutist' catastrophe;
- - alternatively, examine the attached photo without the parachutist included;
- establish the co-ordinates from where the photograph was taken;
- add 0.085 to the north co-ordinate;
- subtract 0.205 from the east co-ordinate; and
- search around the final co-ordinates for the cache.
