This cache is in honor of my sister, Sheri. Sheri was a beautifully talented artist who had the ability to emotionally move people with her drawings and paintings. She enjoyed family, friends, playing the saxophone, listening to a wide variety of music (Prince was her favorite), and the outdoors. She had an appreciation for life that led her to have an inner peace. She was not afraid to be herself and was respected by everyone for it. Tragically, Sheri died in 1991 from injuries sustained in a car accident; she was only 21. Her passing has left a gaping hole in many lives because of how special she was. There is a FTF gift of $1.01. The year on the penny is significant as this is the year Sheri graduated from nearby Shawnee High School. As this cache is in a cemetery, please respect your surroundings. The cemetery hours are 8:00am to 8:00pm during the summer and 8:00am to 6:00pm during the winter. Bring your own pen.
