This cache continues a series of hides dedicated to songs by individual artists or groups I enjoy and also relate to the cache itself.
I have been looking for a place to recognize these guys. Once I did it was easy to pick the song. A lot of times I enjoy a given CD for the simple reason I enjoy the differing textures it conveys. The Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Blood Sugar Sex Magik does just that. Although I really enjoyed Mother’s Milk, this CD is by far my favorite. It is 74 minutes of pure hip-hop, funk, and punk fun. Anthony Kiedis (vocals), John Frusciante (guitar), Flea (bass), and Chad Smith (drums) along with producer Rick Rubin put together an exceptionally strong effort.
The song “Under the Bridge” originally was not to be on the CD. While looking through some of Kiedis’s songs Rubin came across the poem and encouraged Kiedis to include it. The song would eventually become the second single off the CD and would serve as the launching pad propelling the band to world-wide acclaim. Released in September 1991, the CD arguably is their finest work. As for the cache, haven’t you caught on yet?....the name of the cache is more than enough hintwise.
Congrats to jcanyoneer for the FTF...I hope you did not get your ponytail wet!
