LONG DESCRIPTION:

(The coordinates are not for the final location.)
This is # 13 of a set of caches placed along the coast of Broadstairs and Ramsgate, loosely following part of the Viking Cycle Trail. (visit link) It is a simple, offset cache.

You are at a spot used by walkers, cyclists and families on holiday. Nearby is a fun boating lake (with a playground, cafe and amusements). There is a Bowling Green and Croquet Green quite close by. There is also a sculpture here (and the inspiration for the title of the cache). There is a steep fenced off cliff and view of the sea.

So, what about the offset cache?
You are looking for a small, plastic ball. Perhaps it was an atom once held in the sculpted hands as part of the molecule. But a reaction has taken place and the atom has been split from the molecule. It has rolled away. But where?

Q1) What year was this sculpture unveiled to mark the opening of the Thanet section of the National Cycle Network? Answer = ABCD

Q2) How many cooling towers from the abandoned Richborough Power Station can you see in the distance? (Look west.) Answer = E

Q3) How many atoms remain on this molecule? Answer = FG

Q4) How many vowels in the sculptors name? Answer = H

You now have all you need.
The final location is...
North 51° G(ExE).(E+F)(2xH)(ExE); East 001° A(2xA).AB(G+H)

DO NOT go over the fence as it is a steep cliff area.
(It is attached by wire, just in case it tries to roll away again.)

When you find it, just split the atom to release the cache contents!
When placed, the cache contained:
Pencil and Log Book
Bitesize badge – for the fish in the sea
Padlock – as you have unlocked the atom!
(FTF may take either of the objects without replacing.)
