Geocache Description:

"The Angels have the phone box. Don't blink. Don't even blink. Blink and you're dead."
David Tennant,- Tenth Doctor

Doctor Who is a British scifi tv show produced by the BBC. The program depicts the adventures of a mysterious and eccentric humanoid alien known as the Doctor who travels through time and space in his spacecraft, the TARDIS (an acronym for Time And Relative Dimension In Space), which appears from the exterior to be a blue 1950s British police phone box. With his companions, the Doctor explores time and space, faces a variety of foes, and rights wrongs. Doctor Who is the longest-running, most successful science fiction television show in the world and has been on air since the early 1960's.

The Doctor has been played by eleven actors thus far. The transition from one actor to another is written into the show's plot as regeneration, whereby the Doctor takes on a new body when faced with near death. Your quest, if you choose to accept it, is to find all eleven Doctors, each represented with their own cache. They are all located in or near the city of Oshkosh. Within each Doctor's cache is a clue (pieces of coordinates) on where to find the final cache in the series, the TARDIS cache! The clues are written on a business card with a quote from each doctor. PLEASE LEAVE THESE CARDS IN THE CACHES. Each cache in this series of 12 is a pill bottle (various sizes) painted blue like the TARDIS, so some are hidden pretty well. PLEASE please please replace any cover material carefully! Please remember to BRING YOUR OWN PEN!

The tenth cache will lead you to David Tennant who played the Doctor from 2005-2010. This cache will have the coordinate "M" for the TARDIS cache. Make sure to write down the letter/number and keep it handy!

The tenth episode of the third series is called "Blink." "Blink" is one of my personal favorites. In "Blink," the Doctor isn't seen very much, only through a series of DVD's and briefly at the end of the episode, but you are introduced to a new foe of the Doctor, the Weeping Angels. The Lonely Assassins, that's what they used to be called. No one quite knows where they came from, but they're as old as the Universe, or very nearly. And they have survived this long because they have the most perfect defense system ever evolved. They are Quantum Locked. They don't exist when they are being observed. The moment they are seen by any other living creature they freeze into rock. No choice, it's a fact of their biology. In the sight of any living thing, they literally turn into stone. And you can't kill a stone. Of course, a stone can't kill you either, but then you turn your head away. Then you blink. Then, oh yes, it can. That's why they cover their eyes. They're not weeping, they can't risk looking at each other. Their greatest asset is their greatest curse. They can never be seen. Loneliest creatures in the Universe.

This cache will take you very close to a Weeping Angel. You may not be able to see him from where the cache is hidden, so bring a friend to keep an eye on him, or you just might be sent back in time to live your life out in the past while the Angel eats up all your energy in the present! Please be sure to replace the ground cover for this cache as you found it.

Please note: this cache is not located on, nor is it touching any marker or headstone. Please be respectful of the graves nearby. If there is a service in progress or someone is visiting their loved ones, please come back at another time.

We are a family of Doctor Who fans and we hope you enjoy hunting this series of caches as much as we enjoyed making them!
