A casual meet & greet for all cachers everywhere, old and new.
Everyone is welcome!
This event is being held Sunday, October 24th from 2pm - 6pm at
the beautiful indoor Community Center in the Village of St.
Louisville (courtesy of hairball45). Team Monkeyboy will once
again be providing the food (lasagna, salad and bread) and drink
(lemonade). Bring your favorite side dish or dessert to share (no
alcoholic beverages permitted in the park).
Since the first event was such a HUGE success, we had to do it
again!!!
The Community Center features air conditioning and heat, his and
her bathrooms, tons of parking (including handicap spaces), plenty
of tables and chairs, baseball fields, basketball, tennis and
horseshoe courts, and a playground for the kids.
Please post a "will attend" if possible to give us an idea of
how much food to prepare. Lunch will start at 3pm.
We are also looking for donations of door prizes for the event
(caching containers, camping/hiking gear, travel bugs/geocoins,
etc...) - contact Team Monkeyboy if you're able to
contribute.
Bring your travel bugs (and tags) and small, decorative, quarter
sized, collectible metallic discs (trail labels) to trade. Share
your geocoins for others to discover. Place a face to those local
usernames we see on all the logs. Swap caching stories and tales of
adventure!
