Darick: Wow! Based on the picture in the last log, the cache is definitely missing as all the trees in the area have been removed. Thanks for the report, hate to let a cache in this series go. Perhaps I will find another place for a redux placement.

Geocache Description:

This hide is placed in Ralston Park, a large complex of baseball and softball fields and including play equipment for the kids. The cache is about 250 feet on mowed grass from the parking lot at Pierson Field (N 41° 12.007 W 096° 02.530). The last 20 feet are on an incline so be sure to step with care if the ground is wet.

The cache is now a camouflaged pill bottle, bring your own writing utensil. During the warmer months, the cache hiding place can be rather overgrown, so you may want to wear long pants. There will be muggles about during baseball months, but if you use stealth, you should be able to slip into the trees without much notice. As with any cache, please rehide the container well (use some barkouflage).

In addition to the usual log and trinkets, the cache also originally contained a First To Find prize... a pair of customized trackable dog tags featuring a photo I took of the nearby Pierson Field. Congratulations to macscouter on his FTF and claiming the prize. (visit link)
