We're big fans of doing it outdoors. Whether you hike or OHV to this cache, we're all for it! You'll also get to see a new side of Nevada's high desert environment and get a nice view from the cache.
Obviously if you take your OHV to the cache, the difficulty will go down a bit. If you park at the end of the main road that is accessible to all vehicles it's about a .65 mile hike.
Original contents of this peanut butter jar turned cache include random outdoorsy things from Lightfoot temporary tattoos to Leave No Trace hang tags to a lizard figurine.
There is a pen but it is always a good idea to bring an extra.
During certain times of the year beware of raging torrents (water), cow scat (poop) and cheat grass spikeys.
