The Morris: Mr Morris slogged up the hill today to check on Bill and he has indeed gone missing - another ammo can goes into the never never. Unfortunately he forgot to take the spare container we had prepared and he is sooking about having to go up there again so we're gonna let this one go. Someone else can have the spot.

The original Bill'S Views was placed by dak's Emu Mob in December 2004 and had 31 finds, survived a bushfire and several cold winters before it went missing and was archived in in January 2009.
It was the inspiration for Robyn's Views just down the hill and as we've visited here a couple of times since we thought it was time to revive it. It is not in the same spot as the original.
As dak described it "The Emu Mob's seventeenth cache provides some spectacular views of the northern Grampians, for just a modicum of effort.
You might have taken a toke from Bill's Bong. You may have paid your respects to Bill's Bones. You might even have visited Bill's Stables. Now you can take in Bill's Views.
Perched atop Mount William, around 18km south of Halls Gap, are several radio towers, a helipad, and a geocache. The Mount William road is clearly signposted on the Grampians Tourist Road—head south out of Halls Gap, and look for it on the left. The car park is a 10km drive up the mountain. After that you're on your own. The sealed road continues up to the summit, but is behind a gate locked with no less than seven padlocks!
The walk up to the top is 2.1km in length. Not that difficult, actually, just relentlessly uphill. It took dak 25 minutes, including rests—a 15-minute stroll for Derringer! When you can see the radio towers, you'll know you are not far from the summit. The views on the way up and at the top are typical of the area, and are well worth the effort."
