joebids: What a fantastic turn out! It looked like lots of folks had a good time with the event and seemed to really like the Food a lot too.

Congratulations to all the Door prize winners. Several folks got Geo-stuff that they could display anywhere they chose to [b]'stick it'.[/b] [;)]

[b][red]A BIG Thanks to GROUNDSPEAK for their generous donation of Lackey Geocoins and other great stuff.[black][/b] And congrats to the winners of those great looking Geocoins. They must weigh a pound each.

Another BIG Thanks goes to [b][red]Tubby's Tank House.[black][/b] They donated several great looking tee shirts, GAVE us the accommodations, put on a delicious brunch spread and delivered with some really great service by the friendly staff.

	About this Event ~ Going Coastal: For Brunch After a fun packed weekend with the Going Coastal Geo-Events, it’s time to wind down somewhat and prepare to head home. Where ever home may be. And to make that trip home, be sure to fuel up your TANKS. Filling up your vehicle’s tank is certainly a good thing, but more importantly is filling your bio-tank. Do this by joining your fellow Geocachers for food and conversation at Tubby's Tank House in Thunderbolt GA near Skidaway Island State Park and your family will TANK you. The start time for the event will be 9:00 am and last for a couple of hours or so, giving folks plenty of time for eating, fellowship and to give away a few door prizes. Even if you are not hungry for breakfast, stop in and say Hello…or Goodbye to your Geo-Friends anyway. This will be a good time to get your fill of not only good food, but stocking up on hints and tips on caches and techniques from folks from near and far. As with the other Going Coastal Events, please please post your 'will attend' early and indicate how many will be attending to ensure that we will have adequate seating. Stop by and have some food and fun at this FINAL Going Coastal Series Event! Update! The meal will be Buffet like dining and will run individuals $12.00 for adults and $7.00 for children. This includes all taxes and gratuity. The menu will consist of: Tossed Garden Salad, Chicken Fingers, Bacon, Hash Browns, Stone Ground Grits, Scrambled Eggs, Pancakes & mixed fruit. There are other areas within the facility that will offer full menu items if you would like to partake of the finer cuisine.

	Additional Information ~ Other than the $5 state park parking fee for the other related events, there is no cost to attend this event, however we strongly encourage you to post your "will attend" log as soon as possible! An accurate (or even conservative) headcount is the only way we can insure enough "fun" to go around. To find out information on discount logging & camping, view a detailed schedule of weekend events, or reserve a "bag of goodies" (which includes an event t-shirt, event pathtag, and other event-specific items), please visit the external *GOING COASTAL* event site. *UPDATE: 10-11-10. The cut off date to order your pre paid items is November 1st. You can pick up your pre-paid packages at the Going Coastal Hospitality Tent along with other items for sale Friday afternoon from 2 - 4 PM and 6:30 - 8 PM. Also on Saturday starting at 8 AM.
