This is just a simple graveyard cache, nothing too hard. A nice place located along the motorway for passers by to get something to eat, go to the toilet or indeed grab a quick geocache. Prime place to put a travel bug or geocoin, as many tourists drive past this spot and pick them up.
EDIT (5th July 2021): I originally hid this cache in 2010 when I was 12 years old. After rediscovering geocaching in 2020 and hiding 2 more I realised that this cache would never get approved nowadays! Thanks to everyone for visiting my little lunchbox here over the last decade. Here is some more mature information about the location that I didn't know in 2010:
- The graveyard is not abandoned, nor derelict. Somebody does maintain it, albeit infrequently
- Most graves are old, but there are still graves that people actively visit. Respect all of the graves and headstones while searching for the cache
- The derelict church inside the graveyard is dangerous and many stones are unsecured. There has been no restoration work done and I don't know of any plan to start. At some point in the future, the structure will probably collapse. Note that you don't need to go INSIDE the church to find the cache (depending on your definition of "inside")
- You actually do need to move a small stone to obtain the cache. This is frowned upon when hiding caches nowadays and for good reason: defacing historical structures just to find some tupperware isn't justified! In the future I might move the cache location so that young cachers don't make the some mistake, but for now I'll leave it where it is
