The cache is located in Kirby Muxloe. Whilst it isn't an actual marathon, This cache is intended to be somewhat challenging, though it shouldn't prove too difficult to experienced cachers. There are five stages to this multi, of varying difficulty to find. Each container gives co-ordinates to the next until reaching the final cache.
Geraldo Geronimo's Muxloe Marathon. Those seeking a more challenging task should attempt the Challenge below. A multi cache with five stages to find along a route, and each stage provides co-ordinates for the next. Stealth will be required at some, or most points of this route, which will follow paths frequented by myself when I was younger, and which are popular with walking muggles. The hints provided will give you half an idea for each of the stages if you require them, and if any further help is needed, don't hesitate to ask. The first few elements are placed alongside a small stream, though I've taken care to make sure that all of them are well above the waterline. Please be aware that wellies may make this task a bit easier, because all though it is possible to get to all the stages without them, it is likely easier with them. The route then veers away from the stream and up a reasonably steep slope along a footpath, offering views of Kirby Muxloe Castle before reaching the final cache site. Each stage has it's own name, listed below.
Stage One- Wooden Bridge
Stage Two- The Water Side
Stage Three- Squirrel Oak
Stage Four- Top 'o' The Hill
Stage Five- Journeys End
At Wooden Bridge, The Water Side, Squirrel Oak and Top 'o' The Hill the container you are looking for is a small square-ish plastic tub, which will hold just a small note with its title and the co-ordinates and title of the next stage. The actual cache container at Journeys End is a larger square-ish tub, which will contain the log book plus the tradeable items. Please try to re-hide all the containers neatly, to prolong the life of this cache, just the same as all others.

Geraldo Geronimo's Muxloe Marathon- Challenge.
Geraldo Geronimo has challenged you to make a timed run on this multi cache. Those attempting this challenge, should go initially to the Waterfall Gate reference point at N52 37.817 W001 13.945 This is the road bridge over the stream which the cache route follows. Once there, select the co-ordinates for the first stage, Wooden Bridge, and start the clock. Proceed to follow the cache route, and stop the clock when you open the final container at Journeys End and log your total time. Note that if your first attempt is a DNF, and you go back two days later, your time logged would be Three Days. There is no competition involved in this, other than the pride in perhaps notching a quick time. With a brisk pace, and some luck on the stealth front when hunting, this could easily be done in an hour. Cover of Darkness would help with the stealth needed for this challenge, however, it does make it harder then to find the smaller containers at each stage. Going in the daylight makes this easier, but to notch a fast time then, you'll need luck with the stealth. I'll watch with interest. Have fun~
